1.  Position : Regional Head, Eastern / Southern Region
Department : Sales & Marketing

Qualification and Special Skills Requirement

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree of Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales at similar level in the communications, internet and broadband services or related industries
3. Strong and demonstrable understanding of the communications and internet development, service delivery and internet business models and frameworks
4. Strong market/customer focus and ability to assess opportunities against market/customer requirements
5. Strong business and marketing skills and acumen with solid experience in sales and sales management
6. Strong general management, leadership, problem solving and decision making skills
7. Creative, self-starter and team player with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset


Job Description

Regional Management: 1. Leads the delivery of JARING sales strategies
2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans and programs to ensure the profit growth and expansion of JARING's products and services in line with corporate plan
3. Participate in new product development where market opportunities exist
4. Deliver the sales and distribution strategies and programs and oversees its implementation
5. Sets, monitors and continuously improves the progress and performance levels of direct reports against performance objectives, targets and time frames while reporting status to the Head, Sales & Marketing
6. Supports, sustains and positively encourages a work environment that is aligned to the JARING culture
Sales Management: 1.Implement the delivery of sales and support the marketing activities for all products and services
2. Strategize and plan for the achievement of the total revenue of the product through direct sales and partners
3. Work closely with other teams to ensure that sales targets and plans are aligned with the overall product sales and marketing objectives
4. Research, analyze and provide feedback on changes to the market place and industry and adjust sales plans accordingly
Branch Management: 1. To establish, develop, supervise and administer the overall branch operations, general administration, information resources and personnel activities to maximize profits
2. Effectively supervise/support the branch to ensure all products and services are effectively and courteously delivered to the satisfaction of customers resulting in the growth of branch business, improvement in profitability and enhancement of public image
3. Manage and control available resources to meet customer requirements at branch level
4. Supervise the delivery and efficiency of branch's services, complaint and enquiry as to meet customer expectations
5. Manage, verify and authorize all cash and non-cash transactions within authority limits
6. Manage staff performance, teamwork, motivation, discipline and career development at branch level
7. Plan and organize for an efficient workflow of branch function
8. Conduct investigation on any cash shortages or excess in the counter and submit relevant reports in a timely manner
9. Monitoring, review and maintaining liaison with the branch in order to ensure sales are kept at an acceptable level
10. Supervise and ensure the branch complies with guidelines and SOPP (Standard Operating Policy and Procedure)
11. To ensure the growth of business in respective outlets

Department : Internet Data Centre Services

Qualification and Special Skills Requirement

1. At least Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineer or related field
2. 2 years experience as system administrator on UNIX platform and/or MS Window/NT and networking
3. Good documentation, report writing and communication skills in both languages, Bahasa Melayu and English
4. Excellence understanding in UNIX-based operating system and NT and its administration, storage and backup, system applications and related services
5. Familiar with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concept
6. Possess own transport and willing to work on shift, standby and traveling


Job Description

1. Assist daily operation of Datacentre services and liaising with customer
2. Administer servers, software and system related hardware and software as well as related applications
3. Administer Datacentre network nation-wide. 4. Assist in planning, developing requirement, implementation and setup of Datacentre infrastructure
5. Monitor, analyse and improve systems and services performance for internal and external services
6. Prepare documents, reports, technical specification , evaluate and implement solutions
7. Liaise, support and work with internal department/unit and external parties such as customers, vendors, suppliers and consultants

Qualification and Special Skills Requirement

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Marketing or equivalent
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the customer service environment
3. Excellent communication in Bahasa Melayu and English
4. Able to handle work pressure and meet deadline
5. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply


Job Description

1. Handle and coordinate all customer issues such as enquiries, complaints, order processing, customer reports, status reports etc
2. Serve as a key resource for outlet with prime objective of meeting customers' expectations and satisfaction
3. Manage counter collection as well as end of day balancing and reporting
4. Prepare the branch periodical reports
5. Assist in ad-hoc relevant matters

4.  Position : Network Engineer
Department : Network Monitoring Centre

Qualification and Special Skills Requirement

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree of Computer Science/Information Technology/Network or equivalent
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
3. Good knowledge in various access technologies like leased line, Metro-E, xDSL, Wireless, VSAT, Boradband, MetroE etc. Willing to work on shift and standby
4. Certification on CCNA is an advantage


Job Description

1. Monitor and fix Level 1 problems for JARING network, systems and applications (servers, backbones, routers, switches, hubs and other network devices), MPLS, leased-line, xDSL, Metro-E and Data Centre
2. Work closely with other NOC Team Members, Team Leaders, Supervisor and Manager towards achieving operational excellence, ensuring all targets and KPIs are met or exceeded
3. Ensure all faults reported by customers and/or internal teams, systems are attended to and appropriate actions are taken accordingly by performing troubleshooting and rectification actions
4. Liaise with Telco and others to resolve link or network related problem when necessary
5. Assist other engineers or technical team members in producing the necessary network or server performance reports and statistics reports when required

5.  Position : Legal Executive
Department : Legal & Secretarial

Qualification and Special Skills Requirement

1. At least Degree in Law
2. Minimum 2 years experience in handling legal corporate and advisory matters preferably in areas of information and communications technology (ICT)
3. Experience in drafting and reviewing of legal documentations and well versed with the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and other applicable rules and regulations


Job Description

1. Drafting and vetting of agreements and other legal documentations in relation to the JARING business
2. Assist the Legal Manager to develop and implement and evaluate legal strategies, frameworks and policies for JARING
3. Assist the Legal Manager to manage all legal aspects of JARING's operations
4. Ensure that all JARING's processes, activities and operations are carried out in compliance with the regulations governing the B2B/B2C eCommerce and related areas
5. Assist the Legal Manager to set, monitor and continuously improve the progress and performance of the team against performance objectives, targets and time frames
