1.  Position : Executive, Legal
Department : Legal

Qualification and Special Skills Requirement

1. Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in handling legal corporate and advisory matters
preferably in areas of information and communications technology (ICT).
2. Experience in drafting and reviewing of legal documentations and well versed
with the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and other applicable rules and
regulations.
3. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team to develop and maintain a

Job Description

1. To assist the Legal Manager in drafting and vetting of agreements and other
legal documentations in relations to JARING business.
2. To assist the Legal Manager to develop and implement and evaluate legal
strategies, frameworks and policies for JARING.
3. To assist the Legal Manager to manage all legal aspects of JARING's operations.
4. To assist the Legal Manager to ensure that all JARING's processes, activities
and operations are carried out in compliance with the regulations governing the
B2B / B2C eCommerce and related areas.
5. To assist the Legal Manager to set, monitor and continuously improve the
progress and performance of the team against performance objectives, targets
and timeframes.

Qualification and Special Skills Requirement

Job Description

1. To develop, implement and operate security and safety policies, programmes and
loss preventive programme.
2. To manage and operate Integrated Security System for security control of
buildings.
3. To monitor effectiveness and performance of related security policies,
processes and systems and proposed and implement relevant improvements.
4. To enforce supervision, discipline and work ethics overall security personnel

Job Description

1. Assist the branch supervisor in maintaining the office, ensuring it is opened
and closed following the official working hours.
2. Report to the branch supervisor on any office logistics matters, abiding by
the current JARING procedures and policies.
3. Assist the engineers and/or other technical assistants on pre-installation
and configuration of network equipment like routers, modems and server
including fabrication cables, etc.
4. Liaise with the telecommunication provider on line related matters.
5. Liaise with suppliers and end users with regards to the installation and
maintenance of equipment and Internet connectivity.
6. Assist the engineers or other technical assistants in troubleshooting network
or server related problems or to troubleshoot network problems personally
using network tools, and also with end user with regards to network
connectivity problems.
7. Provide and activate analog leased line connections.
8. Manage and update remote POP connectivity diagrams.
9. Responsible for the installation of network infrastructure provided by JARING
for exhibitions or events.
10.Perform preventive maintenance works as and when necessary.
11.Go to customers' sites or JARING POPs to fix or install network equipment or
servers.
12.Work closely with audit control and facility teams in inventory control and
asset tracking.
13.Perform other related works assigned from time to time.

1. Maintain TA's scheduling, timecards and related reports.
2. Ensure JARING procedures and SOPs are followed correctly.
3. Analysis of TT and alert volume on continuous basis.
4. Keep NOC Manager informed of all TT and alert volume changes.
5. Make recommendations for any improvement to current SOP.
6. Ensure calls and alerts are answered in a timly manner.
7. Monitor personnel performance on in-house system.
8. Participate in coaching, reviews and training assessments of shift personnel in conjunction with department manager.

2. Good knowledge in various access technologies like leased line, xDSL, ISDN, Wireless, VSAT, Broadband

Job Description

1. Work on 7 days x 24 hours shift monitoring and fixing Level problems from JARING network, systems and applications (servers, backbones, routers, switches, hubs and other network devices), leased-line, DSL, ISDN fixed-IP and Data Center and on standby as and when required.
2. Work closely with other NMC Team Members, Team Leaders, Supervisor and Manager
towards achieving operational excellence, ensuring all targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
3. Ensure all faults reported by JARING Customers and/or internal teams, systems are attended to and appropriate actions are taken accordingly by performing troubleshooting and rectification actions.
4. Ensure the Level 1 troubleshooting of network/system failures has been done, before escalating to the Level 2 engineers if the problem cannot be resolved at Level 1.
5. Troubleshoot, isolate and fix network/system problems and assist the NMC Team Leader or Manager to produce troubleshooting/outage reports when necessary.
6. Ensure all service calls are logged into the centralized system provided and resolved following the procedures set and record details for service history reporting.
7. Assist other engineers or technical team member in troubleshooting network problems using network tools and produce reports required.
8. Assist other engineers or technical team members in performing test and generating test reports as and when required.
9. Liaise with Telco and others to resolve link or network related problem when necessary.
10. Work closely with the Level 2 engineers and other team in rectifying faults or service outages.
11. Assist other engineers or technical team members in producing the necessary network or server performance reports and statistics reports as and when required.
