1. What is SurfRight?
  SurfRight is an easy to use Guided Internet Browser. Users can block unwanted applications, monitor Internet usage and at the same time have access to an array of selected sites for Internet surfing guidance.
Beside home users, we have sold SurfRight to schools and libraries. It is also suitable for tuition centers, computer learning institutes and associations.
2. What are the features of SurfRight?
  SurfRight has two main components. SurfRight Guided Internet Browser (GIB) and SurfRight Virtual Library (VL).
SurfRight GIB is specially developed for kids and school-going young children. SurfRight GIB has safe site protection features to prevent young Internet users from accessing unsuitable materials like pornographic, pay-to-download websites, anti-society websites and other websiteS that are not suitable for children. The main objective of SurfRight is to provide tools for browsing the Internet at home, library, club house, or.educational organization with minimum or no supervision. Besides, SurfRight can also be customised for browsing other specific content and is suitable to be used in public areas.
SurfRight is run with a username and password. The subscriber will get a username and password which will enable them to manage the usage of the browser. The subscriber can create up to 10 'children' accounts and will be able to monitor their Internet pattern and usage.
3. Why do I need your Virtual Library (VL)?
  Because the content of the Virtual Library is education-oriented, together with global learning platform. All the content has been manually selected by our team of professionals is deemed suitable and safe for our kids to surf. The content is also being re-arranged in a simplified form for easy access.
4. What is the suitable age to use SurfRight?
  The content of the Virtual Library is customised to each particular level of group. They are kindergarten, children, primary and secondary students, also included are content and guidance for parents.
5. How does SurfRight block the access?
  Firstly, we block other browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape and Mozilla (FireFox). Next, we block the access to the URL. Only users with Admin privilege or users with accounts created by administrators can access Internet as they normally do, but their trails will be recorded.
6. If or when the parent wants to use other browsers, what do they have to do?
  Parent can key-in the adminstration password to disable the SurfRight web-tool, (and then run the browser which he would like to use).
7. How does SurfRight protect the PC?
  SurfRight gives limited access to the local PC file folder. Run and Control panel functions of the desktop will be disabled. It can only be activated by disabling SurfRight using the admin username and password.
8. Who is using SurfRight now?
